seemarao.co is the personal portfolio site of Seema Rao. It has no accounts, no shop and no advertising. This page lists everything the site does with information about you.
What this site collects
- Contact form. When you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are emailed to me so I can reply. Contact Form 7 does not store submissions on the site. The form includes an anti-spam check (Akismet honeypot).
- Server logs. The hosting provider (GoDaddy) records IP addresses, browser type and pages requested for security and to keep the site running. Logs are not used to build profiles.
- Analytics. The site may load Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Data is aggregated; I do not use it for advertising. You can block it with any content blocker without affecting the site.
Cookies
WordPress sets a small number of functional cookies (for example, to remember a comment form or a logged-in session). Google Analytics, when active, sets its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. Embedded content from other sites (for example a YouTube or TikTok embed) behaves as if you had visited that site directly.
Sharing
I do not sell or share personal information, and I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Email addresses from the contact form are never added to a mailing list.
Your choices
Email me through the contact form to see, correct or delete anything you have sent. To limit analytics cookies, use your browser settings or a content blocker.
